By Amara Konneh

MONROVIA, Oct. 21 (LINA)-Electoral District # Two Representative in Grand Bassa County J. Clarance Banks wants Liberian Leaders support the effort of the National Reform Initiatives aimed to promoting a long term developmental agenda for Liberia that would impact the lives of everyone across the country.

Speaking, Monday, October 19, 2026 on State Radio, Representative Banks said that the National Reform Initiatives will serve as an instrument to drive the developmental agenda of Liberia.

He added that the reform agenda seeks to promote the government’s effort in strengthening long-term goals as it was projected by former President Charles Taylor  who proposed a developmental agenda of Liberia called ” Vision 2030″.

Representative Banks added that if past administrations would have supported the ” Vision 2030″, today, Liberia has transitioned from different developmental initiatives more aggressively rather than pushing their own agendas or platforms leaving out a long-term goal for the country.

He expressed beliefs that the practice of pursuing separate development agenda undermines the progress of the country’s long-term development initiatives.

Representative Banks called on the Government of Liberia under the stewardship of President Joseph Nyuma Boakai to see the need to support the Vision 2030 Plan as a national developmental agenda for the country because the plan would be an instrument for the country’s long-term goals for everyone despite coming to office.

The Grand Bassa District # Two Lawmaker said he will remain focused to push for the country’s national development reform initiatives that would seek to have a national plan for Liberia and every elected president.
