MONROVIA, Nov. 11 (LINA) – The Liberia Football Association Executive Committee, has unanimously approved the appointment of Mr. Hilary Sackie, President of Paynesville Football Club as one of its members, replacing Nyemah Nyanway who resigned on October 16, 2025.
According to the LFA Statement, the Executive Committee chaired by President Mustapha I. Raji who initially appointed the Paynesville Football Club President, made the decision on Friday, November 7, 2025 to approve the appointment of Mr. Sackie in order to fill the vacant slot at the level of the executive committee following the resignation of EC Nyemah.
The release further added that Mr. Sackie was appointed an Executive Committee Member and the chairperson of the Finance Committee, boosting the workings of the committee until the next general congress in April 2026 in accordance with the LFA Statue.
Meanwhile, the LFA and its Executive Committee Members applaud Hon. Nyanway for his contribution to the development of football in Liberia and looks forward to the newly appointed Executive Committee member, Mr. Sackie’s valuable expertise at the LFA in development of football in Liberia.
