The LNP press statement mentioned that his arrest was followed by a major anti-robbery operation where 17 stolen motorbikes were recovered from his residence.

“This follows his arrest on October 17, 2025, during a major anti-robbery operation in Montserrado County, where seventeen (17) stolen motorbikes were recovered from his residence. Investigations revealed that LASO had been purchasing stolen bikes, issuing fake receipts, and deceiving unsuspecting buyers under the guise of a registered business,” The LNP statement said.

At the same time, the LNP release urges victims of motorbike theft to come forward with proper documents to reclaim their property, adding that the public should also be reminded to desist from buying stolen goods, as doing so may lead to arrest and prosecution under the Liberian law.
