Maryland County: Sen. Brown To Dedicate Several Projects During Easter Break Visit

‎PLEEBO, March 24 (LINA) – Maryland County Senator J. Gble-bo Brown is expected to dedicate several development projects across the county during his Easter break visit.

‎The projects include a state-of-the-art town hall in Manolu, a modern market facility in Boniken, and the first-ever campus-based modern bus stop at William V. S. Tubman University in Harper.

According to a statement from the senator’s home office, the initiatives are being implemented by Gabmark Construction Company and funded by Senator Brown through a combination of Legislative Support Funds and personal contributions.

‎The developments form part of the lawmaker’s 2025 annual projects aimed at improving infrastructure and public services in Maryland County.

‎Chief Executive Officer of Gabmark Construction Company, Gabriel Tarpeh, disclosed that the cost of the projects exceeds US$160,000.

‎Residents are expected to benefit from the new facilities, which are intended to enhance local governance, boost commerce, and improve transportation access for students and the wider community.

‎Senator Brown is expected to arrive in the county over the weekend to hold discussions with local authorities, education stakeholders, women groups, youth organizations, chiefs and elders to address the number of land disputes, influx of Burkinabes, citizens’ concerns on the implementation of the 2024 County Development Funds and provide updates on legislative activities at the Liberian Senate.

While in the county, the Maryland County lawmaker will also launch new development projects, including the construction of schools, roads, markets and other development initiatives among others.
