The Liberian Educator emphasized that the fight against substance abuse is far from over and should be a national cause, and it must not be compromised no matter who is involved as parents should begin to pay attention to the smallest warning signs which include countless hours of sleep, dizziness, loosed talking or lying, desperate need for money, showing no interest for learning or going to school and other inappropriate behavior while under their roofs as children.
Pst. Fiamahn added that parents should raise the alarm when necessary, especially when the children begin to display these early signs and postures, and continue to guide their children with love, discipline, and wisdom. Together, they can all safeguard their future and eradicate drug abuse in Liberia.
He at the same time congratulated all the honorees for their academic standings and progress report during the periods because there were days when the students had to be firm because discipline remains an essential part of education.
